Art Miami
Art Miami is Miami's original and longest-running contemporary art fair, widely regarded as a cornerstone of what has become the most important week for contemporary art in the United States. Held annually at the waterfront One Herald Plaza in downtown Miami during the first week of December, the fair showcases investment-quality works spanning contemporary, modern, post-war, and pop art eras.
Exhibiting at Art Miami Since 2016
Within this prestigious setting, the innovative artistic duo Stallman Studio—comprising Pacific Northwest artists Jason Hallman and Stephen Stum—has presented their groundbreaking "Canvas on Edge" collection since 2016, through galleries such as Laura Rathe Fine Art. Stallman Studio unveiled new experimental configurations within this collection, including works like "Birds of Paradise," embodying what Stum describes as "dynamism and fluidity as they meld together the effects of light, pigment, and structure." Their presence at the fair underscores the event's commitment to showcasing pioneering mixed-media approaches that challenge traditional boundaries between painting and sculpture.
