ArtCatto

ArtCatto, founded in Loulé in 2011 by gallerist Gillian Catto, has become a key contemporary-art platform, with programming that extends beyond its main gallery through a long-running partnership with Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago. ArtCatto presents rotating exhibitions and international artists in a context that connects regional audiences with global contemporary artists.

Stallman Studio’s work was featured through ArtCatto’s Total Abstraction Exhibition in 2025, with Jason Hallman and Stephen Stum presented at Conrad Algarve from a July 17 opening into late August. Centered on the duo’s dimensional Canvas on Edge approach, the exhibition underscores the gallery’s curatorial focus on experimental abstract work.
